MERRY CHRISTMAS from Republik of Kalifornia

On my travels home over Christmas we found a little treasure near the 5 fwy south at "Lowers" in San Clemente! It was a big Republik of Kalifornia bear as you can see, holding a Christmas tree in exchange for his usual surfboard. The Republik of Kalifornia bear and star logo is a representation of the California state flag. The company's apparel boasts pride for the state and it's history with logo's like a railroad X, 3 bars symbolizing "Northern," "Central" and "Southern" California...and a KA in place of CA. Even though the company was only recently launched a few months ago there are already skateboards, surfboards and more popping up everywhere. The popular brand "Rusty" blogged "R.O.K" as their "So R.AD Shop of the Day." Republik's new website...COMING SOON! (Check back for the link.)
