Every time I go home I have to have a photoshoot with my brother. He's too dang handsome I must show him off. I am so proud of who he is...a gorgeous person inside and out. The first post is a few shots I grabbed from Christmas...the second shoot was just an evening walk we went on down an alley way in Dana Point. Thanks Mal for being my subject...all the time haha.

Photos of Me...by Malachi Bodine
Christmas day I was shooting up the place...nothing new. Then I begrudgingly let my brother take my camera and photograph me...so photo credits go to him! (with a little editing from me...) Thanks Mal!
MERRY CHRISTMAS from Republik of Kalifornia
On my travels home over Christmas we found a little treasure near the 5 fwy south at "Lowers" in San Clemente! It was a big Republik of Kalifornia bear as you can see, holding a Christmas tree in exchange for his usual surfboard. The Republik of Kalifornia bear and star logo is a representation of the California state flag. The company's apparel boasts pride for the state and it's history with logo's like a railroad X, 3 bars symbolizing "Northern," "Central" and "Southern" California...and a KA in place of CA. Even though the company was only recently launched a few months ago there are already skateboards, surfboards and more popping up everywhere. The popular brand "Rusty" blogged "R.O.K" as their "So R.AD Shop of the Day." Republik's new website...COMING SOON! (Check back for the link.) For now please follow this link to their facebook fan page and don't forget to "like" it!

Historic Iowa
When I go to places built pre-1900's I can't help but imagine what the people looked like at the time they were built...who stood right where I'm standing? Who walked this same hallway. What secrets were whispered and moments were shared. What emotions were felt in this exact spot? I love rubble, ruins, weathered, dated or just all around OLD places and things...so far before my time. Makes my imagination run a little crazy. Hope you like these photos taken at the state's capital.
