I had the opportunity to spend a few days in Manhattan, NY. IT WAS AMAZING. I think everyone has experiences where they build something up in their minds and when they experience it for real it doesn't quite live up to those expectations. This was not one of those for me! I grew up in Southern California where the lifestyle of NYC was more like something you see in the movies rather than a real place. From the moment I got into my first New York cab I was enthralled. I was lucky enough to fly in at night and stared out the cab door like a 4 year old seeing Disneyland for the first time. Highway signs passed overhead...Brooklyn...Queens...I was dropped at the Park South Hotel in Manhattan where I had dinner on the string light patio with my Aunt Missy who I was going to be staying with. I went to the Met, the top of the Empire State Building (Cary Grant wasn't there), Serendipity, rode the Subway, ate a Dirty Water Hot Dog, walked the market place at Union Square, shopped on Broadway, gawked at Time Square, waved at a NYFD firetruck and stood at Ground Zero and remembered. I cannot wait to go back. This is a handful of photos from my trip...one day I'll post more, or maybe I'll sneak back for new ones.

Kelly & Lee Engagements
If you can't tell by the photos, we had such a good time! This muy atractivo couple recently located to the Lake Norman area from Pennsylvania and I'm so stoked to know them. They are one of those couples you can just see the love between them without them saying a word. Congrats you two.
